The British consulting company FutureBrand recently published its eighth edition that shows the brand value gained by each country since the last survey. Peru has climbed 12 positions (from 49 to 37) worldwide and is ranked 2nd in Latin America.
“For the first time, the FutureBrand Country Index (FCI) includes 75 countries selected from the World Bank database according to their GDP”, El Comercio explained.
The survey took into consideration things such as quality of life, lodging options, the experience of living in the country, and other factors.
“Peru increased the value of its brand by 59% with a significant advance compared to other countries in the group: Slovakia (37%), Romania (35%), Hungary (40%) and Turkey (45%)”, according to the aforementioned media.
