The tournament of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2019 will be on Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31rd at Plaza Lima Sur Mall, in Chorrillos. Gamers from Panama, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile have been confirmed to participate in the event.
The Peruvian League of Pro Evolution Soccer (LPPES) is in charge of the organization of the Cup, that’s having its seventh edition this year. The League informed that the tournament will be played in Play Station 4, using the edition 2019 of the videogame.
JuegaPES 2019 has two modes: Individual and team competitions. The amount of participants is 190, and there are still vacancies for the individual mode. The entry is free.
According to LPPES, more than S/10.000 in cash will be distributed among the winners.
PES is very popular in Peru, and the local players have achieved good results in regional and international tournaments. In fact, the number of gamers playing in a competitive level (eSports) is increasing constantly.

- Guilherme Fonseca (GuiFera): He’s a Brazilian gamer, 2017 world champion and player for Santos Club in Brazil; GuiFera will be part of Kraken PES team.
- Rodrigo Barrera Bonino (Rey-yModa): Three times champion in Chile, Rey-yModa has qualified for the World Cup in several occasions.
- Henrique Mesquita (Henrykinho): 17 year-old, and two times champion in Brazil, this gamer is part of Cruzeiro of Belo Horizonte eSports Team.
- Gerardo Colthirst (Colthirst): From Panama, he’s one of the most accomplished players in Centro America. Colthirst was #1 in PES 2016 divisions and Champion in the “Resto de America” tournament.
- Reynaldo Molina (ChupaLuki): He’s an Argentinian professional gamer, former National Champion and signed by Club Atlético Independiente de Avellaneda.
