You will start your tour in Lima, where you will be amazed by museums, the historic center the best gastronomy Peru has to offer. Continue to Iquitos, where you will where you will embark on a luxury cruise along the Amazon River. Discover the rich biodiversity of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Then, continue your journey in Cusco. You will visit the capital of the Inca Empire, the Sacred Valley, and the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu. Discover the material and immaterial legacy of ancient cultures that remain alive in Lima, Iquitos and Cusco.
Arrive at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, where a representative will be waiting to greet you and a private transportation service will transfer you to your hotel. Breakfast at the hotel, before a private transfer takes you from your hotel to downtown Lima where you will visit the most iconic locations of colonial Lima, including Casa Aliaga, the Casona San Marcos, etc.
Then, you will visit Larco Museum, rated one of the top 25 museums in the world. It has an impressive pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver pieces, as well as erotic art. Enjoy a delicious lunch in its famous Café del Museo Larco (included).
Return to your hotel in a private transportation service. Dinner reservations for Lima’s best restaurants upon request.
Breakfast at your hotel. Then, a private service will take you to Lima’s airport for your flight to Iquitos.
Upon arrival, a private transportation service will take you to the private port of Nauta, a small riverside town on the banks of the Marañón River. You will board the Delfin III and enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Amazon from the observation area. Take the day to enjoy the amenities such as the entertainment center offering movies and an extensive library of books about the area’s flora and. You will have dinner onboard. The ship has a fully equipped bar where you can try regional or international cocktails.
Wake up early to appreciate one of the most beautiful areas of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve: Fundo Casual. The walk through this area will take you to the depths of the Terra Firme jungle (un-flooded forest) where you can appreciate the local fauna. After lunch on the boat, cross through the Yanayacu and Pucate rivers, passing through different streams and lagoons. This is one of the best preserved and protected areas of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. If you want to interact directly with the waters of the Amazon, go out in one of the kayaks or paddle boards. You will also have the opportunity to swim with curious pink dolphins. Dinner will be served onboard.
After lunch, you will visit Nauta Caño for a kayak adventure. You can also go fishing to try to catch a piranha. Dinner will be served onboard.
In the morning you will disembark in the port of Nauta and head towards the airport. Along the way you will visit the Floating Mammals Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre to learn about manatees and other rescued species.
You will be transferred to the airport where a guide will help you with your departure.
Upon your arrival in Lima, a private transportation service will take you to your hotel before embarking on a tour of Barranco, a romantic and bohemian neighborhood. You will walk its art-filled streets and have the chance to taste picarones: a fabulous donut-shaped dessert, crispy and warm, dripping with syrup. You will then return to your hotel.
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, then a representative and transportation service will take you to the airport.
Upon arrival, a private transportation service will take you to the Sacred Valley. First, you will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, the largest complex of terraces in the area and a masterpiece of agriculture of the Inca Empire. After lunch, you will visit the town of Ollantaytambo and its great archaeological complex. After the tour, you will be taken to your chosen hotel in the Sacred Valley.
After breakfast at your hotel, a private transportation service will take you to the Ollanta Station to board the train to Machu Picchu. Following a scenic journey through the impressive Andean landscape, you will arrive at the town Aguas Calientes and take a short bus ride up to Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu means ‘Old Mountain’ and was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will explore the ancient citadel in a two hour private tour.
After lunch, you will return to Aguas Calientes where you will take the train back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Start the day off with a private tour of Chinchero and its local market. After lunch, you will continue your trip to Maras, an impressive salt mine, and Moray, an archaeological vestige composed of mysterious concentric circular terraces.
After the tour, you will be transferred to your chosen hotel in Cusco city.
Enjoy a guided tour of this charming city, including the Santo Domingo Convent, a large baroque complex that was built over the Inca Coricancha temple.
You will also visit Cusco’s Cathedral, the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the temple and amphitheater of Qenqo, and the red fortress of Puka Pukara.
