Venezolanos de Sonorica is traveling to Lima to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe of Jockey Plaza on Feb. 14, this Saturday.
The pop rock band from Venezuela is making their way down to the Peruvian capital to give a concert on the universal day of love, Valentine’s Day.
The band is embarking on a tour through South America, and making Lima its first stop on the set list. This might not be such a coincidence as Sonorica band members, Chato and Freddy are the children of Peruvians.
In collaboration with producer Carlos Quintero, the band created their first single, Obsession and are part of the boom in Venezuelan pop that has recently taken off. Quintero has worked with other popular Latin artists including Celia Cruz, Franco de Vita, David Bisbal, and Tiziano Ferro.
The band strives to make music that really reaches out and connects to people. Vocalist Esthela told El Comercio they try to make songs that are real stories which many people can relate to.
Sonorica’s first ever concert in Lima will be on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Hard Rock Cafe of the Jockey Plaza at 8:00 p.m.The growing rock scene in Lima is calling Venezolanos de Sonorica.
