The American shoe company Skechers is more than satisfied with operations in Peru, a country where they said expectations have been exceeded.
According to information from El Comercio, they have been able to double the number of stores, from 7 to 15 since they began operations three years ago, build a traditional channel of 60 clients and achieve more points of sale in the multi-brand chains.
These actions, said the manager for Peru, Chile and Colombia, Cristián Donghi, have allowed that in terms of growth rates Peru is by far the number one operation of the firm in the region.
Donghi also told El Comercio that the expansion of Skechers for this year and in the following years will continue until it reaches, probably, the same number that the brand currently operates in Chile, which is 41 stores.
