In Mexico City, for the second consecutive year, the ‘Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants’, took place, showcasing the best dining experiences the region has to offer.
To be part of the list, votes are divided into four regions: Mexico & Central America, South America (North), South America (South) and Brazil. Each region has a president and 62 members among whom are chefs, restaurateurs, journalists and food critics must vote for seven restaurants, 3 of which have to be from outside their country of residence.
Instituted in 2013, the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list represents year-to-year, a gourmet barometer put together by a vote of 250 independent experts from across the region.
