It was almost fate to have at the same party the New Yorker Alanna Sikorski, who used to be a product vendor for high-end restaurants, and the Peruvian soccer player Pietro Flores who decided to change his uniform for a chef jacket; they looked at each other and had their summer love.

Time passed, and during the pandemic, she came to Peru for new experiences; they reconnected and have been together ever since. However, once living in Peru, she needed Hot Honey, that sweet and spicy condiment that was her favorite. So, to fulfill her wishes, he created a local version of it every time they tasted something and shared it with Friends.

Elevating Pizza, Salads, and Meat with a Fiery Twist

The Honey comes from Piura, the different chiles was selected using the most common varieties, and that’s Señor Honey, four different condiments with their proprietary process of mixing Aji Amarillo, and passion fruit, which is not hot. Instead, heat increases with Rocoto, Ají Limo, and the hotter Ají Charapita. So Señor Hoeny is the ideal condiment for pizza or as part of salad dressings or meat grace.

With the honey produced in a lab in La Victoria, they decided to use the space as a Dark Kitchen where they make Pizzas, Burgers, and wings that serve from Barranco to Chacarilla, and now that space functions as a private dinner in a clandestine industrial setting.

IN THE KNOW, You can buy Señor Honey on their website and some gourmet stores around Lima; their dark room experience can cater to over 50 people for private parties. In addition, you can find recipes on their website if you are interested in uses.
