The Ministry of Education pointed out five careers that have great potential at this moment in Peru, based on work opportunities, better remuneration and options for development.
According to information from Gestión, “a study by the IDB estimates that by 2025 Latin America will have a demand for 1.2 million software programmers. And that has to do with the technological revolution underway,” said Álvaro Calado, General Director of the General Directorate of Higher Education of Minedu (Ministry of Education).
Then, there are careers related to the progressive aging of the population, such as nursing and health assistance. Calado told the media that the demand for these professionals has increased by 70% in the region.
“He also added that the development of more infrastructure projects will generate a high demand for civil engineers and qualified personnel linked to the construction industry”, write Gestión.
They also mention a fourth group of professionals related to technological progress in health. “There the biomedical engineering to solve health problems and develop artificial organs is a career with future perspective”, noted the specialist.
Careers related to cybersecurity also have great potential in Peru, aligned with the technological development taking place in the country.
