Lima Would Have A Non-Working Day In August For The Pan American Games

From Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11, the Pan American and Parapan American Games Lima 2019 will be held. For a better transit of the 10,000 athletes and technical officers that will arrive in Peru, the government announced that it will decree July 26 as a non-working day, starting at noon.

“Carlos Neuhaus, president of the Pan-American Games, said that Saturday, July 27 and 30 will also be non-working days”, Gestión informed, adding that a non-working day in August could also be added.

“July 26 will be a non-working day from noon, Saturday 27 and also until Tuesday, July 30. The closure of Lima 2019 is August 11, which is Sunday, but we are considering the following day to facilitate the athletes’ return to their countries”, he said to Gestión.
