Peru defeated Cuba 3-0 on the sixth day of competition of the 2019 U20 World Championship in Mexico. Those led by Natalia Málaga won with partial 25-20, 25-13 and 27-25.
“After losing 3-0 to Poland at the close of the first stage of the tournament, which cost them to be out of contention in the fight for the title, the Peruvian U20 volleyball team has not been able to recover and made its debut with a defeat to Argentina at the beginning of the group H games that they share with Cuba and the Dominican Republic”, El Comercio wrote.
Now they will face Cuba, a rival they consider to be at a lower level.
