On the 14th day of the 2019 Pan American Games, Canada is back in second place with 88 medals, just after the United States with 141. Peru remains 8 out of 23 countries with 7 gold medals, 6 silver and 10 bronze.
The highlights of the 14th day are expected to take place in the swimming competition. Around 350 athletes from 37 countries are waiting to get into the Videna Aquatic Center pool and then on the podium with gold, silver and bronze medals.
“Unlike the Toronto 2015 edition in which swimming handed out 17 medals to women and the same to men, in Lima 2019 the mixed 4×100 styles and 4×100 free events will be innovative”, Depor informed.
The Lima Games are taking place in the Peruvian capital city since July 26 and will end on August 11.
