Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mining (MEM) has granted a concession to Electro Oriente, company that will work in the generation of electricity in the Hydroelectric Central Naranjos II, which will be located in the jungle region of San Martin, reports today local newspaper La Republica.
This future hydroelectric central, which will have an output of 6.4 megawatts (MW), will be built in the district of Pardo Miguel, in Rioja (San Martin).
According to El Peruano official gazette, Electro Oriente has been given 20 months to build and put in operation this hydroelectric central.
