In the search for new markets for the benefit of small and medium producers, the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Minagri), is promoting Peruvian organic products at the Biofach 2019 fair, one of the most important in the world.
The event began on February 13 and will be open until the 16th in the city of Nuremberg, Germany.
The Peruvian pavilion is led by Promperú and is exhibiting organic products of small and medium-sized producers in the departments of San Martín, Amazonas, Madre de Dios, Loreto, Ucayali, Ancash, Puno, Junín, Pasco, Huánuco and Ayacucho.
“The exhibition of the organic offer of these products in the aforementioned fair, considered one of the most important in the ecological sector in the world, opens a window of opportunity to realize future business for the direct benefit of small and medium agricultural producers“, the CEO of Sierra and Selva Exportadora (SSE), José Ezeta, said.
Ezeta added that Peru’s participation is part of the commercial promotion strategy developed by Minagri through Sierra and Selva Exportadora, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism through Promperú and the Peruvian Commercial Office Abroad – OCEX Germany.
