On the Colombian border with Venezuela, in the city of Cúcuta, a concert is being organized with more than 35 international artists to help Venezuelans: Venezuela Aid Live.
“300 meters away from where the regime of Nicolás Maduro left two containers and a truck cistern to block the access through the international bridge Tienditas on the Venezuelan frontier border with Cúcuta is the spinning stage from where 35 regional and international artists will perform this Friday on the concert ‘Venezuela Aid Live'”, El Tiempo newspaper wrote.
This concert has the goal of asking Maduro to let the humanitarian help in the country, that was sent many days ago.
The event was organized by the British mogul, Ricard Branson and there is room for 250,000 spectators, although the organizers say they can fit 500,000 people in.
“One of our main objectives is to raise awareness in the world about what is happening in Venezuela,” Fernán Ocampo, one of the spokesmen of the event said.
This will be a free concert that also seeks to collect $100 million US dollars in three months for humanitarian aid for Venezuelans. The organization in charge of collecting the donations will be Fundación Solidaridad
