The Chocolate showroom “Salón del Cacao y Chocolate Perú” will return this July 13 to the 16th at the Lima Convention Center, and this year it will be powered by the Salon du Chocolat París.
Peru is well known around the world for the quality of its cacao. Several high-end chocolate companies use our beans to produce the most exquisite bars or bonbons; you can taste it all under one roof.
What can you found
The Chocolate Showroom event will be held again in the Lima Convention Center, using the main floor area to portray producers from single brands, cacao cooperatives, and regional organizations from all over Peru.
As usual, they will have different events, like the fifth Latin-American chocolate forum, the eighth National Chocolate Contest powered by The International Chocolate Awards, the fifth chocolate sculpture contest, chocolate demonstration classes, activities for children, and even a chocolate fashion show.
International collaborations
Being powered by Salon du Chocolat París will take Peruvian chocolate far ahead to lead the region. Being now part of the international chocolate calendar, the French organizers also provide support in events in cities like Paris and Lyon in France, Tokyo in Japan, New Yor City in the US, Shanghái in China, and Dubai in the Emirates.
Yearly they have a guest country, and this year will be Italy with some artisanal chocolate brands and producers to talk to and taste their chocolates.
IN THE KNOW: The event will be held from the 13th to the 16th. The best day to go is the 13th and 14th, early in the morning, so you can enjoy all the producers and taste a lot of chocolate. Tickets are available vía joinus
