Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man and “triple-triple” Olympic gold medalist, arrived yesterday in Peru for the first time to race against a mototaxi (a motorcycle used as a taxi).

“The legend of world athletics will be in Lima fulfilling various activities, including a promotional campaign that includes the challenge of running against a mototaxi on the Cisneros boardwalk in the district of Miraflores, at 4:00 pm”, Andina News Agency informed.

In addition, today he will be from 7:00 pm in the Jockey Plaza shopping center in Surco, Lima, to support the promotion of a sports brand.

“Usain Bolt visited La Moneda palace on Monday and met with Chilean President Sebastián Piñera”, Andina said, adding that this athlete was born in 1986 in Jamaica and is considered the greatest sprinter of all time.

Bolt is also an eight-time Olympic champion and holds world records in 100 and 200 meters.
