Aeropuertos del Perú (AdP) announced last week that it plans to invest $31 million US dollars in rehabilitation works at Francisco Secada Vignetta International Coronel FAP Airport in Iquitos.
AdP is a company that belongs to the Sandoval Group and they were awarded the tender for the preparation of the technical file needed, which will be carried out by the Ineco-HOB Consortium, made up of the Spanish company Ineco and the Peruvian company HOB.
“The file will contemplate the works of ‘Rehabilitation of the Air Side and Investment for Optimization of the Perimeter Fence of the Iquitos Airport’”, Andina News Agency explained.
The investment will improve the main structure associated with the airport’s runway, taxiways and aircraft platform, as Evans Avendaño, AdP CEO informed.
“The works consist of improving mainly the infrastructure associated with the runway, taxiways and aircraft platform,” said Avendaño.
