Usain Bolt Beat A Moto Taxi In Peru

Usain Bolt participated in a colorful exhibition race against a moto taxi in Lima as part of a promotion of a line of sportswear.

This athlete is the world’s fastest man and “triple-triple” Olympic gold medalist. He arrived in Peru on Tuesday for the first time.

“The 50-meter distance race proved too easy for the Jamaican”, said El Heraldo, adding that he didn’t even have to run, he just jogged.

A moto taxi is a motorcycle used for transportation purposes, very common in Lima. Its maximum speed is of 60 kilometers per hour.

“After the race, Bolt asked to drive the moto taxi to get to know the experience of a fragile and unsafe-looking vehicle for passengers”, El Heraldo said.

The exhibition was held at the Cisneros boardwalk in the tourist district of Miraflores and it was the first of a series of activities that Bolt will fulfill in the Peruvian capital.
