Forbes magazine highlighted the Tambo del Inka Resort located in the Sacred Valley. Have you experienced their luxurious accommodations?
Set between Cusco city and the Machu Picchu sanctuary, the Tambo del Inka luxury resort is getting some international attention.
“Offering luxurious accommodation, a sumptuous spa and authentic Peruvian fine-dining fare, this property is a standout,” noted the renowned Forbes magazine. The publication continued on with five reasons they consider Tambo del Inka is the best resort and spa in Peru’s Sacred Valley.
This resort is constructed by the banks of the Vilcanota river with an Inca-inspired aesthetic and with rooms that feel like “your very own Sacred Valley sanctuary.”
This resort will also take you on an experience as if you were on Machu Picchu itself. “Thanks to the thin air and navigating your way around myriad, uneven stone steps, it’s rough work too,” the author of the Forbes article describes.
Here you will also find a fine-dining restaurant that serves Peruvian dishes like alpaca, causa, tiradito and ceviche prepared with organic ingredients from the region. And of course, the hotel’s Kiri Bar will always be open for you to have the traditional Pisco sour cocktail.
