Consumption Of Nutritional And Cosmetics Products Grew 300% In The Last Two Years

Multilevel marketing businesses are growing in Peru and generating extra income for 3% of the Economically Active Population.

During the last two years, the consumption of nutritional and cosmetic products increased in 300% in Peru. The reason is due to the wish of the middle-class population to invest in the care of their health and appearance, said Andina News Agency.
A social transformation has begun thanks to the growth of the economy that has contributed to the middle class, which has greater purchasing power, promoting the consumption of products to improve their quality of life,” said the founding CEO of Teoma, David Novoa, to the News Agency.

According to Novoa, the tendency to lead a healthy life is growing worldwide and therefore the consumption of nutritional products has increased, including in Peru.

There is also a potential growth for businesses dedicated to the sale of food supplements and cosmetic products, which could exceed 100% per year “speaking very conservatively”, believes Novoa.

The CEO of Teoma also mentions network marketing businesses, which to him have become an effective business option for people interested in starting their own entrepreneurship.

“The founding CEO of Teoma indicated that around 3% of the nation’s Economically Active Population (EAP) generate extra income through marketing networks”, said Andina.
They also explain that multilevel marketing has sold more than 183,700 million US dollars worldwide, of which 25,200 million were produced in South America.
