The travel magazine Wanderlust from the United Kingdom highlighted the citadel of Machu Picchu on the cover of its special version recently released where they showcase the best 77 travel experiences.
However, Machu Picchu was not the only destination that appeared on this publication: the Nazca lines and Lake Titicaca were also included in the ranking, according to Peru.com.
“Wanderlust places Machu Picchu in 5th place in its ranking, once again highlighting its importance in the world”, the aforementioned media said. “It also points out that this destination is an excellent attraction for people geared to high-cost adventure”, they continued.
The Nazca lines made it to the 12th position and Lake Titicaca in the 39th.
“Our country has been in the sights of the British media over the last few years. The Amazon region has been shown to millions of people in BBC documentaries, while Choquequirao was named the best place to travel to in 2017, according to Lonely Planet”, Peru.com said.
