Peru was removed from the list of tax havens of the European Union (EU), along with Panama, Uruguay and 22 other countries, for having applied the reforms they undertook to clear European doubts about their tax systems.

“Through an announcement, the EU reported the departure of the 25 jurisdictions that were included in the gray list, for complying with the commitments they presented”, La República explained.

The European Union announced the entry of the United Arab Emirates (USA), Belize, Dominica and seven other territories to their blacklist of tax havens, La República said.
