The national Peruvian badminton team won 13 medals during the Pan American Junior Championship that took place in Salvador Bahia in Brazil.
The team managed to obtain 8 bronze medals and 5 silver ones.
“Luciana Barboza got the silver medal in double ladies with Carla Valdivia in the sub-11 category”, informed La República today.
Barboza added another silver medal with Marcelo Ruiz in mixed doubles. They lost 2-0 (21-9, 21-14) to Oliver Chen and Lyric Su from Canada.
