Lima is a privileged place because it has several markets that make up an attractive world of their own, full of splendid supplies. We have the Surquillo market, where you can eat one of the best ceviches in town; the San Isidro market, which has the best fruit stands; and the Chorrillos fishermen’s market, which offers the freshest catch from the Pacific Ocean.
A Culinary Experience with a Peruvian Chef
You will enjoy a wonderful gastronomic experience from the hand of Peruvian chef Ignacio Barrios, who has worked at restaurants in different countries. You will visit the San Isidro market and then will attend a participatory cooking class specialized in Peruvian food. At this workshop, you will learn how to prepare a traditional ceviche (chunks of fish marinated in lime and other citrus juices, topped with julienned onions and ají) and lomo saltado (Peruvian stir-fried steak), and finally, you will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Huarique Tour on Two Wheels
