A petition is being signed in Avaaz for direct flights to begin to operate between Sydney and Lima.
“The Australian and Peruvian governments have signed a new Air Services Agreement. This is a prerequisite for airlines to operate direct flights between the two countries. Now all that is required is market demand”, the petition reads.
So far, 43 people have joined the petition and their goal is to achieve 100 digital signatures.
“Let’s let Qantas and Latam know that we want a direct flight between Lima and Sydney – bypassing a stop-over in Chile”, they expressed.
