The Central Reserve Bank of Peru presented yesterday the book “Coins of Peru” (Monedas del Perú) at the auditorium of the Numismatic Museum of Peru.

The event was presided by the president of the Central Reserve Bank, Julio Velarde, who presented the book.

“Coins of Peru” include the series of currency issues that the entity has published this year with themes related to the country’s natural wealth.

For instance, the series “Endangered Wildlife of Peru” had coins with the images of the Andean Tapir, the Condor, the White-Winged Guan, the Tumbes Crocodile, and the Andean Spectacled Bear.
