These Are The Holidays In Peru For 2019

Holidays are non-working days for the public and private sector and they make a great opportunity to rest or to make a trip around Peru.

To prepare yourself in advance, Gestión has published a list of the upcoming holidays for 2019, which include dates such as Holy Week in March and Independence Day in July.
“Another good time to organize a family trip or among friends with a longer itinerary are the long holidays that are made up of traditional holidays, on Saturdays and Sundays -if you do not work these days- and for the compensable non-workable days decreed by the Government itself, which are mandatory for the State and optional for the private sector”, the aforementioned media explained.
Compensable non-workable days means that the workers can take the day off but need to make up for the time later.
