An earthquake of a 5.4-magnitude was registered this Saturday, October 20 in the Peruvian Amazon at 1:42 pm, local time.
“So far, no material damage or victims have been reported, reported the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP”, according to El Impulso.
The tremor’s epicenter was 77 kilometers north of Nueva Cajamarca, which is a town in the Rioja municipality, located in the Amazon region of San Martín.
