Today Limenians will enjoy again one of their most cherished typical dishes, the "Lomo Saltado" during the "Gastronomic Festival: Second Lomo Saltado Contest," organized by the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.
The contest, which will
reportedly bring together more than twenty of the best chefs, will take place at the Alameda Chabuca Granda starting today at noon.
The aim of the contest is promoting local gastronomy and to help position Lima as the Latin American gastronomical capital.
Along with the contest, there will be a great Gastronomical Festival, with the participation of the best restaurants in Lima, that will offer their best dishes at affordable prices.
