Peru's Aidesep calls natives to lift their strike

The leader of the Interethnic Association for Development of the Peruvian Jungle (Aidesep), Deisy Zapata made a call to lift the strike in the Amazon region, following the repeal of the decrees 1090 and 1064.

"Today, AIDESEP announces that the we are raising the force measures” she said at a press conference at the Legislative Palace, right after the Congress approved the repeal.

The leader said that the natives are not being manipulated by anyone, and she asked the Congress to lift the sanction on the seven congressmen recently suspended.

"We want to forget the past," Zapata said to reporters, after expressing his gratitude to the country and especially to the natives.

This country is going down the wrong road if the government is listening to people like this c hola with the goofy hat.

If anyone is going to strike, it should be the taxi drivers in Lima.  One bumped the back of my Jeep the other day and offered 20 soles for the damage.  I don't think so.  Get those lowlifes off the streets for a while.

Is good that agreement was reached.
I am glad that this people got peace.-
A few wood furnitures somewhere  else  less- what the hell. In congress I was thinking how beautiful their clothing, how different was their appearance and that Peru should get more opportunities to listen to this people what they have to tell us. I think they should have part of national tv to express their concerns and to show their way of living and thinking.  " 2 hours  Jungle TV"- my proposal.

(David what happen to you?, You cant be serious ?? - what make you feel that way?? this hate will turn against you- how I can help you ? you can come to  our home and we speak, Let us try to  be friends  )

It is wonderful news that the decrees 1090 and 1064 have been repealed.  Now is the time for very serious discussion about the future of the Amazon.  Whatever the future holds it must be realized how delicate the ecological balance is in the Amazon.  I have observed that we have a lot to learn from Mother Nature. She seems to be the ultimate ecologist.

There are only a few positive results I have seen from human interference on this planet and an example would be the efforts of those that oppose the slaughter of our whales and sharks. Captain Paul Watson and the Sea Shephard crew have been at the forefront.

It must be realized how vital the Amazon is to the climatic balance of this Earth.  The Amazon is the lungs of the world.  If the Amazon is to be developed in any way at all, I believe it should be strictly scientifically monitored.  Otherwise there could be some tragic consequences.  Personally, I am opposed to any development at all.

I was reading the other days something interesting from one native chief from the north-

“we are walking only a few winters here on the earth - and should not use our time for destruction and to make live more difficult to others”.
