Peru Reports First Two Swine Flu Deaths

Peru's first influenza A/H1N1-related death was confirmed on Sunday with the Ministry of Health reported two deaths linked to the virus.

In a press conference held Sunday noon, Health Minister Oscar Ugarte has confirmed that two people have recently died, with their deaths linked to influenza A/H1N1.

A 38 year-old woman died on June 28 at Casaimiro Ulloa hospital in Lima; and a 4 year-old girl died on Friday, July 3, in Cayetano Heredia hospital in Lima.

In the first case, Minister Ugarte detailed that the woman suffered from high blood pressure and was overweight, while the second case involved a girl with Down's syndrome.

Thanks for the oportunity to post my message. I am  a system engineer and I finally found out who “DAVID N” is. I got his mail. So I googled it, and I found he is 14 years old. He is from united states but his parents are peruvians. He likes to post bizarre messeges in different web pages. And He likes to make people drive crazy, so :

Hate to say it but: I told you so. It's not the fact that this guy was wrong in what he claimed, it's that he made a claim this stupid in the first place. The planet is full of stupid politicians but in Peru...... well I think they really set the example for the rest of the world.
