On Saturday, October 19, at the German Embassy Residence, the 2019 DB Peru Butterfly Gala will take place for donations to the work this organization does in the Peruvian jungle.
“We started in the jungle and this year we return to the jungle on the wings of the beautiful Morpho Blue Butterfly,” they said in a press release.
This will be a spectacular evening of wining, dining and dancing at the biggest night of Lima ‘s social season and those invited can give a donation of US $70 dollars.
This foundation was created in 2002 by Diana Bowie to improve access to healthcare and education for people living in remote areas of the Amazon.
“She is a Registered Nurse and received both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Business Administration from Tusculum College in Tennessee,” as stated on their website.
They offer services related to healthcare, education and women’s health with the goal of bringing as much basic care to the people in the villages as possible and train them to care for themselves.
