Maserati Invests $6 Million US Dollars in Peru

The niche for luxury cars in the Peruvian automotive industry is the fastest growing in the last three years.

Maserati announced that it will implement in Lima the best showroom of the brand in Latin America.

“Peru is a market in which exclusive brands take a greater leading role than in other nations of the region”, said the president of the Alese group, Juan Pablo Chirinos to Gestión.

He adds that the niche in the Peruvian automotive industry is the fastest growing in the last three years and that is why they have decided to start operations in the country.

The initial investment the Italian car brand has made in Peru is of $6 million US dollars for infrastructure for sales and aftermarket.

Also, the luxury car segment grew 20.3% in Peru during 2017, Gestión informed.

Maserati is an Italian brand that builds sports cars. It was founded in Bologna by Alfieri Maserati in 1914. One of its most sought-after models is the Quattroporte, a design with four doors launched in 2004 after the company was purchased by Fiat.
