The European Union gave recognition to Peru through a flashmob in which children and adults interpreted a European Peruvian fusion of the “Hymn to Joy”.
The flashmob, entitled “European Union with you Peru”, was recorded in the Plaza de Armas of Lima in order to strengthen the ties of unity, fraternity, and cooperation.
Minor members of the National Choir of Children of Peru -directed by Mónica Canales- and the Philharmonic Orchestra -directed by the maestro Laszlo Benedek- demonstrated their talent interpreting this internationally famous music, according to Andina News Agency.
The organizers indicated that it was not an improvised act, but, rather, perfectly planned by representatives of the European Union to show their support for the Peruvian team in the 2018 World Cup.
