A native of Latvia, Arta Iesalniece studied Tourism and Business Management in the country's capital city, Riga. Though her home village is "literally in the middle of a forest," the travel bug bit her when she was just 10 years old. Childhood memories include family road trips to post-war zones and conflict areas, sleeping in corn fields and jumping from bridges. By the age of 20 she had seen most of Europe and the Black Sea region. After graduation she began traveling solo. She prefers adventure and authentic tourism in order to see the whole world in its true colors. One day she hopes to write a book about her journeys, but for now you can follow her on Instagram, @whereisarta.
