Barranco Beer Company has created a new Catharina Sour beer, a style that is breaking schemes in international competitions, called “Welcome to the Jungle”.
This beer is made from water from the Peruvian jungle, according to the company, with 5% alcohol and 5 IBU, “it presents a lactic acidity with subtle notes of aguaje and walnut, like a slightly fruity yogurt”, they informed on a press release.
Among other characteristics, you can find that it has an opaque golden color and creamy texture. You will be able to try it starting on Fiestas Patrias.
“The history of Catharina Sour dates back to 2015, in Santa Catarina, among home producers”, they said. “The appearance of Catherina Sour is clear and effervescent carbonation, although the color may vary depending on the fruit used”, they continued.
