The Department of Food Import and Export Security of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) informed that squid was added to the exports proposal from Peru to China, according to information from El Peruano.
“The Ministry of Production (Produce) explained that with this decision the access of the squid (Doryteuthis gahi) to this market is again authorized”, the aforementioned media said.
The squid was removed from the exports list of products to China in 2017 and now it will enter this Asian market once more.
