Entel announced last Thursday new investments for $600 million US dollars for 2019, of which $170 million will be for Peru.

“According to the Diario Financiero de Chile, the company ruled out that they are immediately planning to sell their operation in Peru because it consists of a long-term project”, El Comercio informed last week.

After presenting their balance sheet for 2018 to the board of directors and investors, they confirmed that they are happy with their results in Peru and they trust that there will be a growth of three points in market share that will allow reaching 22% of the Peruvian market this year.

Of the $170 million US dollars destined for investments in Peru, $140 million will be for the deployment of mobile infrastructure and $30 million for fiber optics.
