In the framework of the World Congress of International Business and Administration (Comanei), the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific, Jorge Bravo, reported that Peruvian exports to the Pacific Alliance amount to $3.5 million US dollars being the main products of export flour, fish oil, cotton, sugar, coffee, oil and natural gas.

During this event, Bravo also explained the importance of betting on business internationalization because it allows a company to go beyond the borders of its own country and develop tools that help insert in other markets.
“The economic benefit is that companies obtain greater profitability, position and growth worldwide”, according to Bravo, cited by La República.

He also mentioned that among other benefits there is the social benefit in relation to employment, which has increased in the countries that are members of the Pacific Alliance.

According to figures from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, the investment of Peruvian companies in the alliance is around $6.7 million US dollars, while the investments of the entire economic bloc total $58.8 million US dollars.
