Peru And Qatar Subscribe Agreements

President Martín Vizcarra received in the Government Palace the emir of Qatar, Tanim bin Al Thani, who is officially visiting Peru.

The President highlighted the good relations between the nations, especially in the field of investment, commercial exchange and cooperation in sports and youth”, reported El Peruano, adding that he also thanked the emir’s visit to Peru, which was accompanied by a delegation of 140 officials and businessmen.

In the same way, an agreement was signed to eliminate visa requirements in the case of diplomatic and special passports, which will allow the entry and transit of people between both countries, without the need of a visa for 90 days.

As well, a cooperation mechanism was also signed with the Indeci to exchange experiences on natural disasters, said El Peruano today.
