Peru Will Boost Trade With Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan And Kyrgyzstan

Peru will promote trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) made up of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in order to open new opportunities for Peruvian exports.

“In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Diana Bayona headed the delegation that met with the Council Minister and in charge of the Development of Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, Tatyana Valovaya, in Moscow, Russia”, Andina News Agency wrote on Sunday.

This group’s second meeting took place in Moscow, Russia and both countries highlighted the importance of following the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in Matters related to Foreign Trade was signed between Peru and the EEC in October 2015, as a platform for the development of cooperation and the opening of new opportunities in trade.

They also discussed issues related to the application of the Unified System of Tariff Preferences of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) with respect to developing countries.
