Peru Will Host The Meeting Of The Public Integrity Network

To promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the fight against corruption, the Secretariat of Public Integrity of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers will hold the second meeting of the Public Integrity Network of Latin America and the Caribbean on October 16 and 17.

The meeting will be held in coordination with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), according to Andina News Agency.

“The event, to be held at the Swissotel, will bring together the main people in charge of the Integrity Systems of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru”, the media informed.

In addition, experts from the OECD and the IDB will address the priorities identified at the First Meeting of 2017 in Santiago, Chile, as well as follow up on the “Lima Commitment – Democratic Governance against Corruption”.

They will also address issues related to the prevention of corruption, innovation in integrity policies, effective control of conflicts of interest, innovation in the control of corruption, regional strategies for public integrity.
