Symphony for Peru (Sinfonía por el Perú) celebrates 7 years and will hold a series of presentations throughout Europe that will culminate in our country. The tenor Juan Diego Flórez, head of this project, announced that he will begin with the concerts in Vienna and will arrive in Peru to celebrate with the Peruvians this June 27 in the National Grand Theater.

Radio Nacional informed that along with more than 600 children and young people from Symphony for Peru, the Peruvian tenor will give a presentation in commemoration of these first 7 years of work to promote culture and education through musical art in future generations.
GRADE, which stands for Analysis Group for Development in English, did a research, according to Flórez, in which they ensure that the musical education obtained from the Symphony for Peru promotes the development of cognitive and socio-emotional skills, the reorientation of the free time usage of the children and young people, as well as the reduction of child labor and violence.

“This social initiative has been awarded and recognized for its work worldwide by organizations such as the World Economic Forum and Unesco”, Radio Nacional said. “In this musical show, the general public can participate”, they continue, adding that tickets are available in Wong Teleticket and Metro.
