At noon, Peruvian time, the prosecutors Rafael Vela and José Domingo Pérez, from the Lava Jato special team will meet in the General Consulate of Peru in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with representatives from Odebrecht to sign an agreement on benefits and effective collaboration.
“With this agreement, which was reached after months of meetings, the Brazilian construction company is committed to delivering documents on the payment of bribes to Peruvian officials”, El Comercio revealed.
Part of the information that will be delivered is in the “My Web Day” and “Drousys” systems, which were the corporate software used for processing several operations for the payment of bribes.
The criminal acts to which the agreement is linked are the: Project of the Callao section of Costa Verde; The work to improve the Cusco route of avoidance; the Southern Interoceanic Road Corridor project (sections 2 and 3); and the project of the line 1 of the Lima metro (sections 1 and 2).
José Domingo Pérez told the media that this trip consists of the first act in which a company undergoes an effective collaboration process under Peruvian law.
