Peru is the second country with the highest consumption during discount campaigns such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, as revealed by a study of shopping trends during the sales period.
“These metrics reflect that technology is, by far, the preferred category to buy at the end of the year”, informed La República. “In this sense, 44% of Peruvians opted to acquire cell phones, 21% video games, 14% computer and 10% televisions”, they added.
This study also determined that Perú is the second country in Latin America that had the highest consumption during these days.
In addition, the investigation revealed that Latin American people are setting aside tablets to use more their smartphones instead to do online purchasing.
“They had an average purchase of 6 minutes 17 seconds”, La República said, which is another reason why Peruvians have preferred to buy online since doing it directly at the stores adds an average time to find parking of 30 minutes.
