Valentine’s Day is almost here and a global market study by Picodi revealed that Peruvians will spend an average of 192 soles on gifts on this occasion.
The study also determined that men will most likely spend around 217 soles, 71 soles more than women, on February 14 in Peru.
It was also revealed that the people who are most willing to spend on Valentine’s Day are from Ireland, Thailand and Great Britain. “These countries lead the ranking with expenses of $132, $130 and $124 US dollars, respectively,” El Popular said.
Peru is ranked 24th in the list of countries that spend money on presents or dates on February 14, according to the study. “Peruvians will spend an average of $57 US dollars on gifts”, the aforementioned website informed.
