Unicornia is a project that seeks to unite photography, digital illustration, collage and other forms of art. For Fiestas Patrias, this project is going to Iquitos.
“The aim is to make people dream as when they were kids and transform reality into personal paradises”, Anastasia Deykka told TLIP.
With rainbow colors that resemble childish happiness, Unicornia has chosen Iquitos as the location for a “unicorn” transformation in Fiestas Patrias.
“Lima is Grey” was the first transformation Unicornia did where different parts of the city were given bright colors. This time, the Iquitos project combines 50 separate prints in different sizes as a collage.
“Art therapy is a key expression for the Unicornia project. Visitors of my exhibitions are always participants. Everybody is welcome to learn to transform their own photos, to attach original collage and to be a part of photo transformation”, Anastasia said.
From 10:00 pm to 2:00 am on July 28 anyone can gather at the Karma Café in Iquitos to enjoy this exhibition.
