The Peruvian team continued their training yesterday, preparing for the upcoming match against France next Thursday, including a motivational talk that will help them get fully involved in the crucial game.
Andina News Agency explained that the team struggled to initiate their second training in the Khimki Arena for the World Cup because of the defeat suffered on Saturday against Denmark, in which they lost 1-0.
The delay of 40 minutes in the dressing room was due to the fact that the whole team, apart from receiving the instructions of coach Ricardo Gareca, received a motivational talk for 25 minutes.
“The objective of the motivational talk was for the players to overcome the defeat of the debut and get into the encounter with the French, which is crucial for Peru’s aspirations at the 2018 World Cup in Russia”, said Andina.
The match against France will take place on Thursday 21 at the Ekaterinburg Arena at 11:00 am, local Peruvian time.
