Peru is in a stage of clear recovery, according to the senior economist for Latin America of Citibank, Munir Jalil, which positions it as the fastest growing country in the region for 2019.
“According to the executive, the Peruvian economy will grow 4%, a level that although it is important compared to other economies in the region, it is necessary that new strategies are developed to increase that index”, explained Andina News Agency.
Jalil believes also that if you compare this growth index in relation to those obtained in 2002 and 2012 the country still needs to do a lot to reach rates of 6% on average.
