Share

There are around 7,000 patients in Peru waiting to receive an organ transplant and people are invited to register as voluntary donors.

Anyone who is interested can register in any hospital or health center of the Health Ministry in the country. All that they need is to sign papers where they express their willingness to donate their organs in case they suffer cerebral death.

Later, the person is given a card that indicates he or she is is willing to donate his or her organs once they pass away.
